Sandi Helm

Execuitive Director

Sandi Helm is dedicated to dismantling the barriers that prevent young women from reaching their full potential. With a teaching degree from Eastern Michigan University and a legacy of service inherited from her parents—the founders of MOST Ministries—Sandi combines an educator's heart with a mission to share Christ’s love with the forgotten.  She played an integral role in helping her mother document this family heritage in the book Beyond Sight: God’s Vision for Using Ordinary People to Impact the World. Her advocacy was sparked by deep-rooted connections in Kenya, where she first witnessed the unique struggles facing at-risk girls. Outside of her leadership work, Sandi enjoys travelling, kayaking, walking her dog, and spending time with her husband, three children, and three granddaughters.

Cheryl Sorenson

Associate Director

Cheryl Sorenson is a designer and nonprofit leader dedicated to the belief that dignity begins with basic access.  With a background in the "maker economy" and marketing for women-led enterprises, Cheryl is passionate about fostering empowerment through entrepreneurship. She holds an M.A. in Humanitarian & Disaster Leadership from Wheaton College, Cheryl draws on her expertise in art and design to tell compelling stories of the women who are transforming communities and creating lasting social impact. Outside of her professional life, Cheryl finds deep fulfillment in her local community, leading a women’s Bible study. She treasures international travel with her family and finds joy in the kitchen, often accompanied by her adorable mini goldendoodle.
